Arb Consultancy Ltd was founded by Keith Macgregor, who has been working within arboriculture for over 30 years at various disciplines within the profession, from tree surgeon to tree officer, highway trees manager and expert witness. 

He holds one of the highest and most coveted qualifications within the industry – the Royal Forestry Society Professional Diploma  (Dip Arb [RFS]), (passed when the qualification consisted of gruelling exams and interviews), and is a professional member of the Arboricultural Association, Royal Forestry Society (RFS) as well as registered Safe Contractor. 

He has experience in all the mainstream and high-level activities of arboricultural consultancy, including expert witness and locum work as a tree officer. 

Keith has been an arboricultural consultant and the owner of Arb Consultancy Ltd since 2005.

Since 2012 Jenni has been running the office, and managing our team of associated arboricultural, landscape and ecology consultants. 

Arb Consultancy Ltd’s range of work consists of BS 5837 development site reports, safety surveys, inventory surveys, subsidence related tree reports, mortgage/insurance related tree reports and individual client representation for disputes and appeals, including expert witness. 

We are primarily an arboricultural consultancy, additionally in a planning context we will provide landscape plans and ecology reports/studies to facilitate a smooth planning process.

Over the years clients have included Moat Housing Trust, idverde, Knight Frank, Cluttons, Raven Housing Trust, Saxon Wield Housing Trust, Metropolitan Police, South Kensington Estate (Wellcome Trust), Hyde Park Estate (Church Commissioners for England), Islington Council (as a locum tree officer), Croydon Council (as a locum tree officer), CIP Hounslow, Dartford Borough Council and hundreds of architects and developers of all types and sizes.
